Welcome to The Mitre, Glastonbury

Located next to St Benedict's Church in Glastonbury, Somerset, you will find the Mitre Inn, which was built in 1680 – although local legend has it that a tavern has been sited here since the sixth century! It is a friendly local pub with regulars who enjoy meeting visitors and making them feel welcome.

We sell a variety of wines, beers, lagers and ales as well as serving good home-cooked food. We host a variety of weekly events, such as live folk music and we currently have 6 skittles teams, which play regularly throughout the week.

We have two function rooms, which can be hired; the downstairs room can host large parties for major events, while upstairs the smaller room is ideal for meetings, presentations and private meals. Please call us to discuss your needs.

Diane, James, the staff and locals are friendly and love to chat to visitors, so please come in and see us!
